Applesauce Raisin Bread

Today's recipe is...

Applesauce Raisin Bread

1-1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 whole eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup oil
1 cup applesauce
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in oats and brown sugar. Blend eggs, oil and applesauce together. Stir in dry ingredients, raisins, and nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
