Savory Soup and Some Chili

Sweet Potato Sausage Soup

According to Epicurious.com this Sweet Potato Sausage Soup is a savory blend of garlic, paprika and a few other spices you'll like. The recipe calls for Linguica, a Portuguese pork sausage, but a Spanish Chorizo or other rich flavorful sausage would work just as well. I dare you not to like this heart soup!

Chili Mac

When you are short on time (or patience) this Chili Mac will do the trick, and just might become a favorite in your house, like it did mine. It's quick, easy and only requires five ingredients. The blogger who shared it adapted the delicious dish from a Weight Watchers recipe of all things. It's amazing what yummy dinners you can create fast, with just a few simple ingredients.
